Memindahkan Website Joomla Satu Server ke Server Lainnya

Jika Anda telah membuat website joomla di server lokal dan ingin di publish ke server web hosting kita, namun kita tidak ingin kehilangan settingan sebelumnya. Atau Anda ingin sekedar memindahkan web kita dari satu server ke serverlainnya maka beberapa hal yang musti anda lakukan adalah sebagai berikut. (Contoh ini adalah menggunakan Joomla versi 1.0.xx) jika anda menggunakan versi 1.5.xx pada prinsipnya sama yang perlu di edit adalah file configuration.php.

  1. 1. Copy seluruh file Joomla dan database Joomla Anda ke server baru. Ada baiknya seluruh file di server lama di kompress ke dalam 1 buah file zip, kemudian copy file zip tersebut ke server baru. Selanjutnya unzip file zip tadi menggunakan program puTTy (Linux only) atau menggunakan fasilitas extraxt pada cPanel hosting anda. Jika dalam komputer lokal anda cukup Unzip saja.
  2. 2. Kemudian di server baru tersebut, buka file configuration.php, kemudian pastikan parameter-parameter berikut ini sesuai dengan kondisi di server yang baru.

$mosConfig_absolute_path: “lokasi/file/joomla”;
$mosConfig_cachepath: “lokasi/cache/joomla/cache”;
$mosConfig_db: “nama_database”;
$mosConfig_live_site: “http://urlwebsitejoomla”;
$mosConfig_password: “password_database_joomla”;
$mosConfig_user: “username_database_joomla”;

Jangan lupa import database dari server ke server menggunakan PHPMyAdmin

Catatan : Jika file configuration.php tidak bisa di write, chmod dahulu file tersebut ke 755, jika proses perubahan parameter sudah selesai jangan lupa untuk chmod lagi ke 644. (Dan jika di komputer (lokal) maka seharusnya Webhosting Anda sudah bisa berjalan)

Oke selamat mencoba, mudah-mudahan Anda sudah bisa memindahkan website Joomla anda dari satu server ke server lainnya.

    saya seorang pemula yang baru mau belajar membuat web pake joomla mau tanya ni,gimana ya caranya mau membuat kotak komentar muncul di bawah artikel yang kita buat kaya web anda ini.. atau kaya punya wordpress.saya pake joomla 1.0xx makasih..

    This is classical in terms of google. Nothing looks to annoy towards them compared to that.This is just was worried about some years ago at the big blackhat con about seo in ’95!

    yap, however this is only useful for people who are just learning about seo, namely us. with the historical background of different countries amongst us, very fair with our country behind technological developments. for that, very useful if thomas was willing to correct if there is a shortage of us.
